This system forms the basis to a new and better programming paradigm. I've been toying with various different parent-child-hierarchical programming techniques for many years.
Collections of children can be "wrapped" into single nodes, to be able to encapsulate and grow the complexity of the relationships. Nodes can be scripted to easily program their behavior.
